Equity Nepal organized an inspiring experience sharing program featuring Mr. Madan Rokaya as the esteemed guest, which took place on March 8, 2023. The event provided a platform for Mr. Rokaya, an ex-student of Equity Nepal and visually impaired individual, to share his post-hostel life experiences, challenges he faces in the outer world, and opportunities he has encountered.
The goal of the event was to provide children with a broader view of the world and give them the techniques they needed to overcome problems and look forward to a bright future. As someone who has overcome challenges despite being blind, Mr. Rokaya’s thoughts and personal story gave our children inspiration.
We want to thank Mr. Madan Rokaya for being kind enough to share his time, experiences, and inspiration with our kids. His presence had a lasting effect on the children, giving them the confidence to push themselves forward and take advantage of opportunities.
