Regular School Stationery
Generally curriculum books for the visually impaired children are provided by the government free of costs. Other than that, we ensure that the children under Equity Nepal have access to all the remaining necessary school stationeries. We provide items such as notebooks, pens, colors and specially designed stylers to create a helpful environment that supports their studies and helps them learn with ease.
Braille Lessons for Beginners
Equity Nepal offers specialized braille lessons for the beginners, so they can learn the skills they need to read and write. Our trained teachers teach students how to read and write in braille. They use a tactile system of raised dots to teach students how to read and write. These lessons give children the tools they need to find information, express themselves, and learn on their own.
Regular Tuition Classes
In addition to going regular school, Equity Nepal provides extra tuition classes to it’s all children who are getting benefitted by it. Currently, we focus on providing specialized classes in Mathematics and English. Qualified teachers and volunteers help them deal with academic problems, review ideas, and feel more confident in their skills.
Provision of School Uniforms
Equity Nepal gives the visually impaired children school dresses so they can dress appropriately and feel good about themselves when they go to school. This project helps to get rid of barriers so that children who are blind can fully participate in the school environment. We provide essential school uniforms, such as shoes and other things.
